New graduates with childcare experience are also encouraged to apply.The role is full time permanent however a part time opportunity is also available for the right person.We are seeking a person that has a genuine passion for children and shaping future generations and is committed to quality service delivery rich in learning and providing a sense of identity to individual children. In your role, you will deliver a high quality educational program using the foundations of STEM and a strong understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines as well as nurturing relationships with families and the community. The role is available for an immediate start.What we are seeking:At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar roleTertiary qualifications in Childcare / Children's services (ACECQA approved)An understanding of the National Quality Framework which includes government regulations, the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning FrameworkA passion for developing, planning and implementing an innovative educational program with a commitment to inclusive early childhood practice and social justiceStrong knowledge of the transition from early childhood to early primary yearsExperience with networking in local school communities offering families a sense of familiarity prior to transitioningAnaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid CertificatesCurrent Blue Card (Approved Working with Children Check)Knowledge of fire training, safe sleeping practices and child protectionHigh level interpersonal and relationship-building skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skillsThe centre offers excellent working conditions as well as above Award rates, assistance with further professional development and the support and understanding of a cohesive management team and Director.
